As mobile phones become an increasingly ubiquitous and intelligent device, having uses beyond mere communication simpliciter and is now such an insistent part of our daily lives, the legal regime relevant to the seizure, search and use of evidence obtained from mobile phones have increasing relevancy and significance in many different contexts.

Yesterday night (10 August 2023), Ryan moderated the first of our Chambers’ round table discussion series on ‘Instant Messaging as Evidence in Court’. The event proved to be fruitful, inspiring and well attended by our distinguished guests, partners of various firms, as well as members of our Chambers.
