Pui Pui joined Chambers in 2024 after completing pupillage with Mr Selwyn Yu SC, Mr Vincent Lam, Ms Jolie Chao and Mr Isaac Chan, as well as an extended pupillage with Mr Derek Chan SC. 


Before entering the legal profession, she obtained her LLB from Manchester Metropolitan University and her PCLL from the University of Hong Kong. Her academic journey began in Psychology, earning both a BA and MA from the University of Southern California. During that time, she also worked as a research assistant and presented her research at several academic symposiums, including one at Stanford University. 


Pui Pui brings nearly a decade of experience in business and management from her time working in China, where she also gained exposure to litigation in probate and company matters. Her interest in psychology remains ongoing – she has been appointed as part-time lecturer teaching cognitive psychology at Hong Kong Metropolitan University since 2017.


She is developing a broad civil and commercial practice, with a particular emphasis on cross-border disputes, while maintaining a strong focus on criminal law. She has handled a diverse range of cases, including those involving fraud, drug offences, sexual offences, white-collar crime, industrial summonses and personal injuries. 


Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, Pui Pui is fully equipped to conduct cases in both English and Chinese.
